I am attaching the E-version of the is book. The pages that the case analysis come from are pages 319-327 Case #7 (BALANCING VALUES – AN INDIAN PERSPECTIVE ON CORPORATE VALUES FROM SCANDINAVIA). The format is listed below on how this need to be completed. This is Graduate Level work and needs to be 5 pages minimum, with APA format, and 4 references minimum. If the file is not working, please let me know. Also the structure is below. Please look at the recommendation on who is the target audience for this.


In your written case analysis, please follow the specified structure:

  1. Problem Statement – A concise summary of the most pressing issue or issue cluster presented in the case. This should be one to two sentences in length.
  2. Analysis – In this extended section, draw attention to facts that logically gave rise to the content of the ‘Problem Statement.’ Do NOT restate the case, only the relevant material that provides the basis for understanding the dynamics that gave rise to or indicate the nature of the ‘problem.’ See the Cengage description of important considerations in your analysis, including identification of ASSUMPTIONS. Be sure to address all relevant HR functional areas, such as, HRP, EEO, Job Analysis and Design, Staffing, Talent Management, Performance Management, Risk Management (Health & Safety), Compensation and Benefits, Labor and/or Employee Relations.
  3. Options – The first option is to continue with the firm’s current strategy, policies and procedures. The second and third options must be related to reasonable changes that are feasible. Their reasonableness should be rooted in HR theory and best practices.
  4. Recommendation – Compare and contrast the three options above on relevant bases such as costs of implementation and anticipated consequences. Be comprehensive in exploring likely financial, cultural and morale implications.


When you get to Section IV: Recommendation, please state who your intended audience is. This is always an important consideration as you tailor and edit the content – down to each word. Do NOT write the recommendation for your instructor! Determine who in the organization has the authority to make the change(s) you are recommending. Then, put yourself in that person’s or persons’ shoes so you can address their needs in order to persuade them to embrace your recommendation.

Approach each case analysis assignment as though you are an employee or paid consultant and hold your group to a set of standards such firms expect from highly educated and well paid professionals. As I grade your work, it will be in light of those standards. And, I will judge whether the recommendation is persuasive from the perspective of the intended audience. In the workplace, having the ‘best answer’ is of no value if you cannot convince those who have the authority and power to implement your recommendation.
